Eduardo Suárez Battán is a founding partner of Suárez Battán & Asociados in 2010 and had previously founded Macaya & Suárez Battán Asesores in 2002. He has conducted executive searches and management assessments in the industrial, agribusiness, consumer products, and technology (IT and telecommunications) sectors in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Ecuador, Uruguay, Spain, USA and Central America.
Before these activities, from 1998 to 2002, he was Executive Director of Russell Reynolds Associates in Buenos Aires, and was responsible for the Management Assessment Practice and was Coordinator of the Technology Practice for Latin America. He had previously worked 19 years at IBM in line functions, both in Marketing and Sales, managing the government, finance, and industrial sectors. After an assignment in the U.S., he was appointed General Manager of IBM Corporate Printing Business Unit, first for Argentina and then for the Latin American Region. Subsequently, he was in charge of all the Product Business Units and, finally, for the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME’s) Division for IBM Southern Cone, covering Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile. He graduated with honors from Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA) as Industrial and Mechanical Engineer.
